I’d like to see if I can drum up some genealogical research work by asking my subscribers or anyone who reads this, what their own family history road blocks or brick walls are.
Have you done some research or a LOT of research and still not been able to find your answers?
Have you hired someone who still couldn’t find it for you? Is it a matter of the records not being available or accessible, or a language barrier?
My answer to anyone who asks me why I do what I do, is that it’s the “detective” aspect of the research. I absolutely love searching for clues, and looking outside the box to find that answer to a client’s research dilemma. My motivation is the joy it gives to someone if I can find that person, or the answer they’re searching for and prove it to them via my research. Oftentimes, it leads them down another whole avenue of research that they can then persue on their own, or hire me to help them with.
If you’d like to let me know your “brick walls” please comment on here, or check out my website http://www.sandramoffattgenealogicalresearch.com and contact me directly.
I look forward to hearing from you!
